Secret
Areas
There are two secret areas you can gain access to in LOST - Via Domus. The
Pearl Station and the Medical Station. In these areas you can find Apollo
bars which are worth $50 each for trading. There is also a secret
achievement in each station.
The Pearl Station
To gain access to the pearl station you need to be at the beginning of
episode four. On the beach there are six different objects that feature
the numbers. 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42. You must examine each one of these
objects in order.
First of all
you'll need to examine the suitcase that you will find under a shelter
near Charlie. On the suitcase it will say LOVE 4 EVER
Now you'll
need to examine 8 which is near the suitcase towards the ocean. There is
an 8 made out of shells on the floor.
Next you need
to examine a piece of fuselage with the number 15 on it. You can find it
near the tree line on the opposite side of the beach to the number 8 in
the sand. The number 15 is on the side of a shelter, beside the trees.
Next is the
number 16. This one is much easier to find. It is located on a crate under
a shelter very close to the number 15.
The number 23
was harder to find. Go to Hurley and beside him you will see a food cart.
Examine the food cart and it will say it has the number 23 on it.
The last
number - 42 - is beside Charley. Simply examine the dominoes beside him
and it will say someone was playing texas 42, a popular dominoes game.
You're
done. If you done it right you will now be given the option to move to the
pearl station. Down here you can get a secret achievement by taking a
picture of the Pearl station logo on the wall. There is also two Apollo
bars lying about.
The Medical Station
The medical Station is another secret area that can only be accessed in
level 6. It is located at the start of the episode just after the
chase from the monster.
At the end of
the chase, Juliet will appear out of the jungle and turn off the pylon
fence.
When she says
it is safe, pass through the fence.
Instead of
talking to Juliet and heading on to the next area, go the opposite
direction of Juliet and you will find a large area with a sweet view of a
lagoon in the middle of the jungle.
As you will
see the whole area is covered in long grass and it's hard to see anything
on the ground. You are going to have to find a small blue can on the
ground.
The can is
located on the right side of the large area - while facing the lagoon - It
is near some funky looking trees.
Once
you have located it on the ground, you will have the option to move the
the Medical station. Here you have the chance to grab another secret
achievement by taking a picture of the Medical Station logo on the door.
There is also an Apollo bar to be found in the child's room.
